About The Position

The Testing Coordinator at Loyola University Chicago's Student Accessibility Center is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and processing accommodated tests for students with disabilities. This role ensures compliance with testing integrity and Student Accessibility Center policies while overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple campuses. The Testing Coordinator also trains and directs staff, manages logistics for final exams, and collaborates with Accessibility Specialists to provide necessary accommodations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of related work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Symplicity Accommodate.
  • Experience with assistive technology such as JAWS, Kurzweil, or Dragon Naturally Speaking.
  • Knowledge of MS SharePoint and MS Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, schedule, and process accommodated tests for students with disabilities.
  • Oversee day-to-day testing operations at multiple campuses.
  • Develop and update services, policies, and procedures for testing operations.
  • Train, mentor, and direct the work of proctors and student workers.
  • Manage logistics for final exam week, including room reservations and communications.
  • Receive and schedule exam requests while maintaining test security and integrity.
  • Work closely with Accessibility Specialists to ensure proper accommodations are provided.
  • Document and collect statistical data regarding exam activity and administration.
  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
  • Participate in university-wide programs and events.
