Under the supervision of the Director of Student Success, the employee will be responsible for assisting with the testing services of the Student Success Center and providing clerical support as requested by the director of Student Success.
Receive students, visitors, and college personnel promptly and courteously and provide information as required.
Administer and/or assist with administering all tests for students as directed.
Comply with all institutional testing policies and test administration guidelines.
Coordinate testing events for community partners.
Maintain flexible hours in scheduling for when testing is needed.
Monitors students during test sessions to ensure a secure testing environment.
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of student records.
Checks identification before testing and seats examinees for testing.
Establish and maintain files, correspondence, testing supplies, and other related information and documents.
Prepare the testing area for testing and maintain a quiet atmosphere for testing.
Report suspected testing irregularities to the Director, Student Success Center.
Develop and maintain files (computer and hardcopy) of students tested in the Assessment Center and Success Center.
Notify students verbally or in writing of the test dates, appointment changes, and testing services as needed.
Field and explain questions about testing and test scores via phone, email, and in person.
Maintain and update the testing calendar.
Perform other duties as requested by appropriate personnel.
Associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution is required.
Two (2) years of clerical experience.
Willingness and ability to obtain certification to proctor exams and standardized tests (Accuplacer, ATB, Pearson Vue, etc.) is required.
Demonstrated technology competency with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
