About The Position

The Testing Coordinator at IDEA Owassa College Prep plays a crucial role in ensuring that all students perform to their best ability during testing. This position is responsible for creating a conducive testing environment, managing testing logistics, and supporting teachers and leaders in making data-driven decisions. The Testing Coordinator will oversee the administration of district, state, and national assessments, ensuring compliance with guidelines and providing necessary accommodations for students.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Ensure 100% of students have high-quality testing environments for assessments.
  • Attend all scheduled trainings with the national Assessment Team.
  • Create and communicate the campus testing plan for all assessments to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with campus IT to ensure readiness of computers for online testing.
  • Prepare testing bins 72 hours in advance of testing dates.
  • Review testing bin contents with test proctors prior to testing dates.
  • Audit accommodation and supplemental materials with special population point persons before testing.
  • Process and manage state assessment materials according to district guidelines.
  • Audit paper test booklets and answer documents for accuracy before submission.
  • Execute all deliverables requested by the national Assessment Team on time.
  • Lead campus testing training for staff on assessment policies and procedures.
  • Schedule biweekly meetings with special point persons to ensure accommodations are updated.
  • Oversee testing sessions to ensure compliance with testing policies and procedures.
  • Provide feedback to staff after testing sessions to improve future experiences.
  • Set up and monitor online testing systems to ensure proper testing formats and accommodations.
  • Investigate and report testing irregularities to the national Assessment Team.
