About The Position
Under the general direction and supervision of the Director of Testing, the Testing Center Specialist administers and proctors make-up, placement, online/hybrid, industry-specific, GED (through Pearson Vue), and other tests administered in the Testing & Assessment Center. The Testing Specialist is responsible for the maintenance of accurate, permanent, and secure test files, and advising students on placement test results. The Testing & Assessment Center at Southeast Community College is a student-centered team that embraces positivity, compassionate leadership, collaboration, and strong relationships, both on and off campus. Team members enjoy working with others, are committed to helping others achieve goals and value excellence. A strong commitment to students, adaptability, and a sense of humor are trademarks of the team. This is a part-time regular position.
