The Testing Center Coordinator is a new, 12-month position within the Office of Accessibility Services (OAS) at SUNY Geneseo. The Testing Center Coordinator is responsible for coordinating accommodated exams and overseeing daily operations of the testing facility to align with compliance per the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504. The Coordinator will hire, schedule, and train student staff for proctoring. This position requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including students, OAS staff, faculty, and departmental personnel throughout campus. The Coordinator will also oversee OAS assistive technology, provide students with training and support, and educate the campus community about available assistive technology. During academic breaks, this position will assist with Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) goals and initiatives for digital and document accessibility. This position is Monday through Friday, in-person during active Test Center operations.
