Requirements

  • Degree must be in Computer Science (CS) or related field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics).
  • Relevant experience must be in engineering of computer or information systems over their lifecycle.
  • Experience in programming, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, and/or systems engineering.
  • Completion of military training in a relevant area such as JCAC will be considered towards the relevant experience requirement.
  • Entry is with a Bachelor's degree and no experience or an Associate's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Full performance entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience and knowledge of systems engineering, test and evaluation tradecraft, and software engineering.
  • Working knowledge of automation tools and Linux.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytic and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both orally and written).
  • Well-organized and able to handle multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop unit and system tests to evaluate compliance with customer requirements.
  • Conduct testing and evaluate cyberspace operations capabilities and the effects of developed capabilities.
  • Make recommendations based on testing results.
  • Apply principles, methods, and tools for testing & evaluating computer or computer-related equipment/computing systems.
  • Install, configure, modify, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace computer hardware, peripherals, and other equipment.
