About The Position

As the Testing and Classroom Access Coordinator for Student Affairs, you coordinate testing accommodations and test proctoring, support and manage the conversion of academic materials, and handle logistics such as arranging specialized furniture and equipment to ensure student testing is completed on schedule and in a timely manner. You carry out other related tasks as needed and ensure that all records comply with applicable institutional policies, as well as state and federal requirements and regulations. This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible. Monthly Salary: $3,925 to $4,882 | Range 41 Steps D - M | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.
  • Two (2) years’ experience working with students in a higher education setting, such as providing and/or overseeing activities in advising, career counseling, financial aid, outreach, recruitment and/or retention.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service.
  • Demonstrated skill in organization and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated experience meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Demonstrated experience working in access and/or accommodations departments in an educational setting.
  • Experience with providing administrative support for a student focused program in a university setting.
