About The Position

WEPCO is seeking a Testing and Calibration Technician to join our quality team. Position Goals: The goals of this position are to assist the Testing and Calibration group in both their general laborer and clerical needs. About WEPCO: Westfield Electroplating Company (WEPCO), a growing aerospace company, was founded in 1946 and is located in the western part of Massachusetts in the city of Westfield. WEPCO is family owned and operated and currently employs 155 highly skilled platers, painters, and technicians. WEPCO is a stable non-union facility with diverse aerospace and defense finishing capabilities servicing military, government, aviation, medical and electronic industries. WEPCO has the honor of being the first company in the country to achieve the National Aerospace and Defense Contractor Accreditation Program (NADCAP) accreditation in chemical processing, a status they have proudly continuously held over the last decade.

Requirements

• Exceptional Multi-Tasker
• Strong Organizational Skill
• Strong communication skills
• Must have ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Must be able to use power tools (Palm Sander and Engravers)
• Must be able to follow procedures and tests as directed
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook
• Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Must be able to pass both a pre-employment physical and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Perform company data entry and scanning operations
• Perform clerical tasks such as document review, filing and labeling
• Prepare test panels surfaces for quality tests
• Run tests panels on plating lines and document test results
