The Office of the State Fire Marshal’s Personnel Standards and Education Division is seeking to hire a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as the Executive I – Testing Administrator. This position serves as a functional administrator providing primary oversight of all confidential examination test banks of questions for firefighter certifications and non-fire service certifications and ensures the integrity and effectiveness of testing processes. This position is responsible for end-to-end planning and execution of testing activities, from coordinating test schedules and logistics to analyzing test results for insights. The ideal candidate has a meticulous approach to organizing complex materials and a keen analytical eye for ensuring quality and compliance. As the Executive I – Testing Coordinator and employee of the State of Illinois, the selected candidate will have access to state healthcare, benefits and a pension plan.
