We build humanoid robots that work alongside people to solve labor shortages and create abundance. We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Test Technician to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for setting up, executing, and supporting a variety of thermal, mechanical, and electrical tests. Your work will play a critical role in generating high-quality test data that informs design, reliability, and validation decisions. This role requires strong technical aptitude, adaptability, and close collaboration with test engineers, design engineers, and reliability teams.

  • Procure, set up, and maintain test equipment including fixtures, power supplies, data acquisition systems, cabling, and workstations
  • Prepare and connect Devices Under Test (DUTs) according to test plans and engineering requirements
  • Execute tests, monitor performance, and ensure safe and reliable operation of test setups
  • Troubleshoot test setups, equipment, and DUT issues during execution
  • Perform post-test teardown, inspection, and basic failure analysis
  • Collect, organize, and summarize test data and observations
  • Prepare clear test summaries and reports to communicate results to engineering stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement of test processes, fixtures, and lab organization
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, reliability, quality, and manufacturing
  • 2–5 years of experience working in a test lab or engineering laboratory environment
  • Familiarity with thermal, mechanical, and electrical testing methods
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting data using Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high variation in tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across engineering and technical teams
  • Hands-on aptitude with tools, instrumentation, and lab equipment
  • Experience supporting reliability or validation testing
  • Familiarity with basic statistical analysis
  • Experience working with data acquisition systems or test automation
  • Background in robotics, electromechanical systems, or hardware development environments
