Leidos’ Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Test Technician (weekend shift) to support our Electronics Manufacturing Facility. The Test Technician will be responsible for following established test procedures and executing tests to ensure the quality and functionality of electronic assemblies. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED WITH 2-4 years of prior experience in electronics or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-year experience in testing electronic assemblies or working in a manufacturing/testing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and test procedures.
  • Proficiency in using digital multimeters (DMM) for measurements and diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as power supplies, load banks, oscilloscopes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic components and testing methodologies.
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency in data entry, documentation, and using software tools for testing and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Regular attendance is required
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during testing operations.
  • Manual dexterity to handle small electronic components and tools.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 35 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Execute tests on electronic assemblies according to detailed test procedures and protocols.
  • Operate and maintain testing equipment and tools, including power supplies, load banks, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters (DMM).
  • Record and document test results accurately and systematically using computer-based tools and software.
  • Identify and report any deviations, failures, or anomalies during testing.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during testing operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized testing environment.
