SUMMARY The Test Technician will be responsible for conducting tests on finished products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. This individual will work closely with engineering and quality to identify issues, document test results and support manufacturing processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience as an Inspection or quality technician
  • High-level of visual awareness
  • Ability to work alone with minimal supervision
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Basic math, computer, and keyboarding skills to work within the ERP system
  • Must demonstrate good attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Experience drafting reports and collating data
  • Ability to analyze and interpret technical information
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be authorized to work in the US

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of ISO9001 preferred

Responsibilities

  • Setup and operate test stands and instruments, including (but not limited to) vibration and noise meters.
  • Complete performance, vibration and noise tests on products.
  • Record and analyze test data, identifying deviations from specifications.
  • Diagnose issues during testing.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of test procedures, results, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with testing supervisor and engineering team to refine test procedures and resolve problems.
  • Ensures that products are tested within timely manner.
  • Performs necessary transactions in ERP system to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Ensures test equipment is within calibration and functioning safely and properly.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly workspace within the test room.
  • Other duties as assigned.
