About The Position

As a Test Technician, you will be involved in the following: Perform the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of laser modules, electronic circuits, and mechanical assemblies. Work with free-space optical components - test and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. Operate computer systems for testing of product and report writing. Use lasers, monochromators, optics, DMM/DVMs, arbitrary waveform generators, power supplies, oscilloscopes, LabView software, current sources, laser beam analyzers, optical power meters, and other proprietary tools to perform tests and calibrations. Support Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Contribute to control of inventory and work order management.
