We are searching for one detail-oriented Test Technician to join our Elevator Controls team at Vantage Elevation. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of education in electrical and electronic principles (Associate degree or equivalent experience and knowledge required)
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and test parameters
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills related to electronic principles
  • Proficiency using multi-meters, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, logic probes, and other diagnostic test equipment
  • Excellent communication skills and a cooperative interpersonal style
  • Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to meet physical job demands and work safely at all times

Nice To Haves

  • Elevator industry experience (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Performing system and board-level testing and troubleshooting of elevator control systems comprised of digital and analog circuits and microprocessor-controlled logic
  • Validating control systems to ensure compliance with general functional specifications and contract-specific requirements
  • Working in conjunction with the Contract Order Engineering Team to modify control systems as required
  • Diagnosing malfunctions of circuitry, components, or parts and determining appropriate repair actions
  • Logging failure data, documenting repair results, and preparing required reports
  • Performing additional duties as assigned
