This is a Second shift position located in Moorpark, CA.

Requirements

Education: High School Diploma (Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred).
Candidates must be able to work independently and interface with individuals at multiple levels in the organization.
Strong mechanical aptitude, problem solving and communication skills are required.
Candidates must be able to interpret and execute test requirements provided in written specifications.
Experience working in an aerospace industry is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a test lab environment with exposure to several of the following areas:
Instrumentation/Equipment
Pressure transducers
Multimeters
Milliohmeters
Hipot testers
Pulse Generators
Voltage and Current Supplies
Oscilloscopes (DAQs)
Test Equity Temperature Chambers
Instron Tensile testers

Nice To Haves

Microsoft Word and Excel Proficiency
Intron Tensile tester programming (Bluehill Universal Software)
Watlow F4 and F4T programming

Responsibilities

Test evaluation, set-up and performance
Equipment preventive maintenance and calibration
Test data reporting and plotting
Equipment troubleshooting and repair
Primary responsibility will be evaluation, set-up and performance of electrical tests, mechanical loading and proofing.
Testing will be performed in accordance with written procedures, MIL-STD’s and industry specifications.
Test data will be generated to support customer requirements.
Occasional heavy lifting (25 lbs.) and overtime may be required.
