The Electronic Technicians duties will include testing of broadcasting transmission equipment. Daily responsibilities involve troubleshooting electronic and or RF circuitry to the board level; troubleshoot down to the component level; performing final FCC validation tests using semi-automated testing process; perform Software downloading and installation; record and verify performance data. Responsibilities may include Bench level, semi-automated testing, manual testing using test procedure or instructions as well as ability to follow verbal as well as written instructions.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience reading schematics and working with technical drawings
  • 2 years of experience with troubleshooting electronic circuits to board level as well as to component level
  • Experience using electronic test equipment such as digital multi-meters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other electronic test equipment
  • Familiarity with ISO9001:2008 and other quality and workmanship standards
  • 3 years of experience with demonstrated strong analytical skills
  • Well organized and able to multi-task

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in electronics
  • RF experience
