The Test Technician will build, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electromechanical assemblies, per applicable documentation and quality workmanship standards. The role involves performing engineering tests to collect and evaluate product data, supporting troubleshooting of assembly and schematic issues, and recommending design changes. The technician will validate the accuracy and sequencing of technical test procedures, provide technical support to customers, and resolve product issues. Additionally, the technician will prepare technical reports documenting test procedures and results, conduct tests according to established procedures, troubleshoot and repair malfunctions at component and subassembly levels, solder components to PCB assemblies, and assemble electronic and electromechanical devices using technical drawings and specifications. Compliance with safety protocols and hazardous waste handling requirements is essential, along with maintaining accurate records and documentation.

  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • 3 years in manufacturing setting with knowledge products.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to operate electronic test equipment specifically including oscilloscopes, function generators, and digital volt meters.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring drawings and schematic diagrams.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering assembly drawings.
  • Ability to read and understand production drawings.
  • Basic soldering skills.
  • Ability to build electronic assemblies.
  • Abilities listed in General Requirements of Team Members.
  • Associates degree in electronics technology preferred.
  • 2 years’ experience in electronics manufacturing preferred.
  • J-STD-001 or other Electronic certifications.
