About the position

Boeing Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC 3) Assembly and Integration Test Team is seeking Test Technicians in Huntsville, AL. The position involves working with Engineering, Quality Control, Manufacturing, vendor and customer representatives during definition, buildup, testing, and acceptance operations. Responsibilities include performing functional check out and operational/component testing of various systems, fault isolation of complex electrical circuitry, and analyzing test and rejection history to identify problems and develop corrective actions. The role requires working from engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents, and may involve handling hazardous materials and RF energy while maintaining a safe working environment. The position is for 2nd shift from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, on a 4/10 schedule. Candidates must be able to obtain a US Security Clearance (Secret) and must be US Citizens.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Engineering, Quality Control, Manufacturing, vendor and customer representatives during definition, buildup, testing, and acceptance operations.
  • Perform functional check out and operational/component testing of electrical/electronic, electro-mechanical, electro-optical, mechanical systems, electronic, RF, and ground support equipment installations.
  • Perform fault isolation of complex electrical circuitry.
  • Analyze test and rejection history to identify problems and develop corrective action.
  • Recommend and make refinements to equipment, sub-assemblies, test and integration processes.
  • Work from engineering drawings, schematics, work orders, technical documents and formal direction.
  • Maintain a safe working environment while handling hazardous materials and RF energy.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating non-automated Stand-alone test equipment.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with electronic measurement and test equipment.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience troubleshooting fault isolate complex electronics systems.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Test and troubleshooting experience of advanced Electronic Systems (i.e. Electro-Optical Guidance Systems, Radar Tests and/or RF Seeker).
