About the position
Magnetic Analysis Corporation is seeking a Test Technician to set up, test, and repair electronic equipment and printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role involves hands-on experience with various tools and equipment to ensure the functionality and reliability of electronic systems, particularly those based on IBM compatible computer chassis. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and manual dexterity, contributing to the company's commitment to superior technology and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Set up and test electronics tester based on IBM compatible computer chassis.
- Repair malfunctions in electronics tester and PCBs.
- Assemble and test PCBs.
- Read and comprehend SOPs and circuit drawings.
- Maintain logs that provide details of repairs.
- Diagnose, repair, and test product problems as they are received.
- Uphold MAC's company principles in all aspects of work.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Test Technician.
- Strong hands-on experience with electronic testing and circuitry.
- Experience troubleshooting down to component level.
- Very good soldering skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Familiarity with test equipment such as scopes, signal generators, and multimeters.
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
- Physical fitness to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and operating material handling equipment safely.
