Test Technician, Intermediate
About The Position
The Qualcomm Camera Test team is looking for highly motivated and committed Intermediate Test Technician to participate in the validation of Camera solution on Snapdragon processors including system features and on upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon Android Devices. This is a Intermediate test Technician position within the System Test organization. In this role the candidate will be working on a team responsible for testing our chipset software. The role involves a good mix of hands-on testing of the products and collaborating with various project teams in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates must have strong communication skills, must be an effective team player and must be able to work independently. Be able to follow the step-by-step instruction from engineering document for execution. Specific skills in camera technologies will be a plus.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of testing, measurement, or related work experience.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of semiconductor, RF testing, or related work experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, create and modifies test coverage and basic android experience
- Camera experience and photography experience is a big plus on android
- Define new test processes
- File clear defects and follow up with software teams
- Partner with the development team to debug/provide logs
- Documents systems-level defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to developers.
- Identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents problems with program function, output, or content.
