About The Position
The primary responsibilities of Testing Technician I are assisting Test Engineers in our Environmental Simulation and Climatic testing chambers . Technician I should also have a basic understanding of the equipment used for testing and the ability to follow test procedures.
Requirements
- High School or AA in Science
- 0-2 years’ experience in a material testing laboratory environment
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Basic assembly skills
- Good organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), maintain Lab ISO and process Safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist with project setup and performing tests
- Perform maintenance of the lab equipment
- Ability to travel to job sites and work varying shifts
- Update chemical and equipment inventories
- Other duties as assigned
