About The Position

Aretum is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Test / QA Engineer. As a Test / QA Engineer, you will validate system functionality, data accuracy, and integration performance. Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.

Requirements

Testing Types: Functional, integration, regression, UAT support
API Testing: Postman, REST clients, automated API validation
Data Validation: SQL queries, dataset comparison, reconciliation checks
Test Automation: Basic scripting (Python/JavaScript), test frameworks
Defect Tracking: Jira or similar tools
Test Case Design: Requirements traceability, edge case identification
Performance Testing (Basic): Load testing concepts, response validation
CI/CD Integration: Running tests in pipelines
Documentation: Test plans, test cases, defect reports
Basic Understanding of Healthcare Data: Enough to validate outputs logically
Collaboration: Working with engineers to isolate and reproduce issues
Public Trust Eligibility Required
U.S. Work Authorization
Due to federal contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this position.
This position supports a federal government contract and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination, depending on the agency’s background investigation requirements.
