Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills in English.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery, hand tools, and computers.
  • Basic PC knowledge.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One to three months related experience and/or training.
  • On the job training provided.
  • Lifting requirements up to 40 pounds.
  • Requires standing, sitting, and walking for periods of time.
  • Reaching required.
  • Requires close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
  • Moderate noise level.
  • Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; safety glasses, wrist and shoe straps, and ESD smock.
  • Food is not allowed in the manufacturing area.
  • No cell phone use allowed in the manufacturing area unless approved by management.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of production planning and quality management systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles preferred.
  • Color vision preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform test requirements on basic products.
  • Assemble chassis, cables, and wires other related assemblies per schedule and referencing QA check sheet.
  • Operate in-circuit testers as required.
  • Uses visual aids, verbal, and written instructions to perform the job.
  • Adheres to ESD requirements and safety rules.
  • Produce high quality products to exceed customer expectations.
  • Follows MultiTech rules and policies.
  • Clean and maintain work area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
