Requirements

  • Typically required 1-year related experience.
  • Demonstrate ability to lift up to 40 lbs for Boomerang.
  • Demonstrate basic manufacturing line knowledge and participate in process.
  • Successful completion of company provided training may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Tests function of electronic assemblies/Sub-assemblies, components, systems, units and parts according to established procedures.
  • Tests electronics products, components and systems for electrical continuity and function and reliability on a variety of test platforms and static/dynamic stress chambers.
  • Determines if the designated products pass all test cycles and collects diagnostic information needed to isolate any product failure.
  • Notifies the appropriate statistical process control system.
  • Inspects product for the correct placement and orientation of untested components.
  • Inspects products for any physical damage or contamination.
  • Places the appropriate test marks on all electronics pass test.
  • Reviews production schedules, process procedures and specifications regarding the sequential start-up operation and control of automated equipment and peripheral hardware.
  • Records data required for statistical process control of inventory management.
  • Performs sequential shutdown including the cleaning of the automated equipment of peripheral hardware.
  • Communicates any process problems with peers, leads, supervisors and or engineers.
  • May be required for certain assembler positions, these could include one or more skillsets.
  • Executes written/verbal instructions given by supervisor and monitors efficiency and quality of assigned routine tasks.
  • Monitors PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assemblies through the process and reports discrepancies to Production Supervisor, line lead or Technical Team.
  • Inspects finished boards for quality and quantity of work performed.
  • Reads and follows work instructions and visual aids.
  • Checks and inspects task results against predetermined standards.
  • Identifies, communicates, and escalates production issues and problems.
  • Provides team support by demonstrating work methods to new hires, sharing best practices, assisting in minor troubleshooting, and actively participating in cross-training.
