The Test Specialist in Network Security plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of systems by analyzing business requirements to derive tests and managing test deliverables across all testing phases.   • Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for network security features and software modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and security standards.
  • Utilize automation tools such as Selenium and Jenkins to enhance test efficiency and coverage while conducting various types of testing including functional, regression, usability, and API testing for network security applications.
  • Identify, reproduce, and document software defects in network security applications according to established procedures, utilizing tools like Jira for tracking and reporting.
  • Proactively collaborate with development teams to analyze, prioritize, and verify defect resolutions, participating in test reviews to drive continuous improvement and share best practices in network security testing.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in network security and contribute to the creation and maintenance of test automation frameworks and libraries, ensuring robust testing practices and methods.
  • Expert knowledge in network security principles and practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium or similar.
  • Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are optional but valuable.
