About The Position

IronMountain Solutions is seeking a Test Manager to provide the Space and Missile Defense Center of Excellence (CoE), currently and as it expands, with professional engineering, technical and programmatic assistance to support efforts in development of a NCR-IADS MIC. Advisory and assistance services may include advisory assistance support in; vulnerability and risk assessment and mitigation; project justification and defense; program planning; evaluation and analyses of programs, projects, budgets and performance; and project execution, transition and commercialization. This also includes providing programmatic support in the development and preparation of acquisition and procurement documents. These services are comprehensively categorized as Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support services. As such, SETA support must expeditiously acquire the fundamental understanding of CoE’s mission support to the National Capital Region Integrated Air Defense Systems (NCR-IADS) overall and respective Management and Integration Cell (MIC) offices’ mission, practices, policies, and procedures; and respond professionally and promptly to mission needs within a demanding, challenging, and evolving environment.

Requirements

  • The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
  • The candidate must have active Secret security clearance.
  • The candidate must be willing to travel in support of business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning, preparation, execution, and reporting of NCR-IADS testing, including current configurations as well as future architectures, sensors, and effectors.
  • Assist and advise the MIC Government Team Leader on the development and management of a Test and Evaluation Master Plan.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the system as it relates to the Homeland Defense program in support of NCR-IADS.
  • Experience in a joint test/evaluation environment with both ground and air solutions.
  • Understand Department of War test and evaluation purposes, principles and conventions, including Contractor-level, Developmental, Operational testing.
  • Strong understanding of command, control, and communications (C3) architectures as used in the Air & Missile Defense mission and environment.
  • Familiarity with the Avenger, NASAMS, and Sentinel systems as used in air defense architectures.
  • Perform program analysis and provide program assistance for the weapon systems, unique components, and networks comprising NCR-IADS.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and evaluation of program documentation for management and technical reviews.
