About The Position

At General Dynamics Mission Systems, the Test Lead will coordinate and execute the test approach and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle. This role involves leading a test team using the latest technologies and assisting in various areas of system test work product generation, development of test and diagnostic programs, design of test fixtures and equipment, and completion of specifications and procedures for new products. The Test Lead will also develop functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems, and design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting for all phases of product development and manufacturing. The position is part of a cross-functional team responsible for developing mission-critical Cybersecurity Manager Applications for a rapidly growing product line, working with cutting-edge application development tools and technologies. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field
• 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Python script development
• Working knowledge of systems engineering concepts, principles, and theories
• Experience developing Systems Design and Requirement Management
• Test Procedure Development and Test Execution
• 5-8 Years’ experience leading and managing teams

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of SNMP and REST APIs
• ESXi, OS platform, and VM configuration experience
• Network configuration and troubleshooting experience
• Integrated product team experience
• Working knowledge of DOORS or Cameo
• Working knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure and Digital Certificate usage
• Protocol analysis using Wireshark
• UX/UI design experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the test approach and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle
• Assist in the generation of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools
• Assist in the development of test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products
• Assist in the development of functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems
• Assist in the design, development and implementation of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and systems for all phases of product development and manufacturing
• Leading a test team
