About The Position

Primary Skills – API Testing using ReadyAPI/Karate. Kafka-based event-driven systems testing Technical Skills • Strong experience with API Automation Testing using ReadyAPI and/or Karate • Design, develop, and maintain API automation frameworks using ReadyAPI and/or Karate. • Good knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture testing • Validate Kafka-based event-driven systems, including producers, consumers, and message flows. • Test message formats, topics, partitions, offsets, and fault scenarios. • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services • Experience integrating automation tests with CI/CD pipelines • Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP methods, and status codes • Experience with version control systems (Git) • Ensure adherence to QA best practices, standards, and processes. • Continuously improve automation frameworks, test coverage, and execution efficiency. • Provide test metrics, reports, and quality status to stakeholders. • Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing for RESTful APIs. • Validate API contracts, schemas, payloads, and error handling. • Ensure automation coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.

Requirements

• API Testing using ReadyAPI/Karate
