About The Position

The Test Lab. Technician is responsible for setting up, monitoring, and documenting component tests to support customer requirements, market research, and product qualification efforts. Working closely with Product Engineering teams within a dynamic manufacturing environment focused on oil seals for general industry and automotive applications, this role ensures accurate and reliable test data that informs product performance and development.

Requirements

Technical background, experience in mechanical testing or laboratory work, and/or previous experience in mechanical fields.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Ability to follow procedures and work independently.
High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree.
High level of commitment and flexibility.
Willingness and resilience to meet the physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

Preparing and configuring test equipment and fixtures for a variety of component evaluations.
Using mechanic knowledge and experience to install oil seals into testing rigs to create testing conditions according to customer requirements.
Using ladder logic to program testing parameters.
Conducting tests according to defined procedures and standards.
Monitoring test progress and record detailed data and observations.
Collaborating with engineering and quality teams to interpret results and support reporting.
Maintaining lab equipment and ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
