Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field; master's preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in a testing lab environment, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, breakers, protective devices, and testing standards.
- Proficiency with test equipment and data systems such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, LabVIEW, and MATLAB.
- Demonstrated ability to develop testing methodologies and quality processes.
- Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, or similar quality management systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily laboratory operations, including scheduling, resource planning, and workflow management.
- Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and methodologies aligned with industry standards.
- Oversee calibration, use, and maintenance of high‑current, high‑voltage, and environmental test equipment.
- Mentor and supervise test engineers and technicians to support growth and development.
- Analyze data, interpret results, and prepare detailed test reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to clarify requirements and support design improvements.
- Maintain a safe working environment aligned with all applicable safety practices.
- Manage the lab budget, equipment procurement, and maintenance schedules.
