The Test Lab Engineer Co-Op will support hardware development programs for HVAC and Commercial system applications.

Requirements

  • Working to achieve a B.S in Electrical Engineering Junior status
  • Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week during business hours.
  • Able to start working January 2026
  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment – multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Good hands-on skills such as soldering and mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good communication (written and verbal) and organization skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support hardware testing on development programs for HVAC and Commercial system applications.
  • Interface with software and hardware design engineers to determine the appropriate test parameters on these applications.
  • Help develop hardware validation samples for testing and customer evaluation.
  • Assist engineers and technicians with various software and hardware tasks for the test labs.
  • Assemble and modify electronic controls for testing and customer samples.
  • Set up and perform testing on motor controls and related hardware.
  • Document testing and test results
