Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years' experience working with high voltages required.
• Ability to use tools and test equipment of the trade (Voltage/Electric Meters, basic hand and electrical tools).
• Journeyman level qualification desired but not required to apply.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with electrical codes.
• Experience with electrical hook-ups required for testing and installation of hardware.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental Policies.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, or replace electrical circuitry and components of units being assembled, repaired, or tested.
• Work under the direction of engineers or technicians on assigned jobs.
• Follow company lock out tag out training.
• Support product testing with power connections and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Install and commission new electrical equipment.
• Perform facility equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Carry out voltage tap changes on VFD drives.
• Build electrical enclosures.
• Train and transfer knowledge to other electricians as needed.
