We seek a highly motivated hands-on automation engineer in Low Voltage Test Automation group, a team focused on creating robust, data-centric production testing equipment for Tesla’s vehicle electronics and silicon development. This team develops automation using mechanical, electrical, software, and controls of reliable and cost-efficient capital equipment for suppliers and Tesla factories around the world. Design electronics for testers/fixtures automation in collaboration with test engineers, including digital logics, power conversion, signal conditioning, and microcontroller Create, read, interpret, and diagnose schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuits Support bring-up, validation, and development of new design Investigate novel solutions to simplify testing automation Provide remote and occasional on-site support for product deployment and updates Manage multiple projects in parallel Interested in and/or experience as a hands-on embedded engineer with interests in electronics and or silicon testing
