Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 10 years' experience developing instrument driven test equipment.
  • M.S. in Electrical Engineering with 7 years' experience developing instrument driven test equipment.
  • Experience programming with LabView or Python.
  • Experience in problem isolation with demonstrable troubleshooting skills.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communications skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • An existing U.S. Security Clearance is desired. The ability to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and document automated acceptance test equipment required for new and existing electronic products and assist with transition of this equipment to Production Test Engineering.
  • Develop a set of testing requirements based on engineering design documentation and hardware.
  • Develop functional test stations utilizing state of the art PXI, LAN, USB in a context of automated parametric measurements, while maintaining a modular, flexible and scalable design approach.
  • Assist in determining measurement techniques, identifying and procuring instrumentation, and implementation of test systems to perform requirements verification.
  • Interface with product development teams to determine appropriate test strategy and coverage for functional requirements.
  • Grow in electrical engineering expertise as opportunities in analog and digital circuits, cable design, debugging of electrical assemblies are presented.
  • Author process, test and calibration procedures.
  • Produce clear, understandable documentation geared for all audiences.
