This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Fluid, Hydraulic, Mechanical and Electrical Test Engineers to join our Production Test Engineering team at Blue Origin. Position Specific Details: Shifts: C | Mon-Fri (6:00am-6:30pm), D | Fri-Sun (6:00pm-6:30am), 3rd | Mon-Fri (10:00pm-6:30am) Location: Space Coast, FL Relocation: Available Role Descriptions Fluids We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Fluid Test Engineer to join our Production Test Engineering team at Blue Origin. This role is responsible for developing test methods, operate ground support equipment, author and execute test procedures to efficiently complete integrated fluid system testing for multiple test campaigns. You will be coordinating and directing test crews and ground support equipment while establishing vehicle configurations for testing throughout vehicle production as well as manage and supervise a small team of technicians during test setups, checkouts and teardowns. Leveraging advanced methodologies and instrumentation, you will play a critical role in validating avionics systems and maintaining Blue Origin’s commitment to mission success. Mechanical/Hydraulic As part of a hardworking team of specialists, you will develop, manage and execute test plans and procedures as part of the Orbital Launch Site (OLS) Production Test Team. You will have ownership of fluids systems for ground support equipment and testing of various space vehicle fluids systems. You will develop test methods, operate ground support equipment, author and execute test procedures to efficiently complete integrated fluids system testing for multiple test campaigns. You will be coordinating and directing test crews and ground support equipment while establishing vehicle configurations for testing throughout vehicle production as well as manage and supervise a small team of technicians during test setups, checkouts and teardowns. Electrical We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Electrical Test Engineer to join our Production Test Engineering team at Blue Origin. This role is responsible for developing, leading, and executing comprehensive test plans and procedures for integrated avionics subsystems, ground support equipment (GSE), and spaceflight systems. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic production environment, excels at troubleshooting complex electrical systems, and is committed to the highest standards of safety and technical rigor. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support the integrated system testing of launch vehicles, ensuring quality and reliability for human spaceflight missions. Leveraging advanced methodologies and instrumentation, you will play a critical role in validating avionics systems and maintaining Blue Origin’s commitment to mission success.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, civil engineering or related field
  • Relevant experience in space vehicle testing, fluids support equipment & fluids ground systems development. (1+ years Level 1 Engineer, 3+ years Level II Engineer, 5+ years Level III Engineer, 8+ years Level IV Engineer)
  • Experience with developing, writing and executing test procedures for servicing or leak checking GN2, GO2, and/or GHE, systems
  • Experience reading P&ID schematics/layout designs
  • Experience developing fluids systems installation and checkout procedures
  • Ability to support off-shift, extended hours, and weekends as required for mission milestones
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
  • Background in space vehicle testing, fluids support equipment & fluids ground systems development
  • A strong safety record
  • Leading test teams as a Test Conductor or Test Engineer
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Engineering, or related technical field from an accredited university
  • Relevant experience supporting test teams as a vehicle system operator, test conductor, test engineer, or console operator. (1+ years Level 1 Engineer, 3+ years Level II Engineer, 5+ years Level III Engineer, 8+ years Level IV Engineer)
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware related to avionics, electrical, or control systems, with the ability to read schematics and layout designs
  • 1+ years of experience developing English work instructions or test procedures
