Qorvo’s Test Engineering Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, Connectivity and Sensors and Global Operations business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Analog/RF circuit design coursework and/or experience
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or other object-oriented language
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Self-Starter with good communication skills
  • Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling

Responsibilities

  • Creating automated test software to control test equipment and execute test plans
  • Developing measurement automation using C++, C# along with custom tools
  • Supporting test fixture and/or probe card design activities including PCB design and layout
  • Measuring product using test equipment like DC source/measure units, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
  • Processing, verifying, and analyzing the measured data; producing clear and concise presentations and reports
  • Assisting product teams with troubleshooting and resolution of die sort test issues and yield excursions
  • Yield improvement, cost reduction, throughput improvements while maintaining high quality
