Avionics Test Engineering is seeking to fill an intern to design innovative hardware and software test solutions for an array of Collins Aerospace Display products.

Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

• Required to be pursuing a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Prefer candidates that are pursuing Electrical or Computer Engineering degrees.
• The engineering intern who fills this position must have development, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop test software and hardware for automated tests for Display products.
• Program C# and utilize NI TestStand on multi-rack test stations.
• Become familiar with switch systems, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, DMM's, power supplies and other digital related equipment.
• Develop and support Environmental Stress Screening (thermal and vibration) test equipment and software suites.
