About The Position

Our Student Program provides amazing opportunities to develop functional job skills and gain real-world experience and expertise. We offer spring, fall and year-round internships and co-ops in fields across the company, including engineering, finance, and business development. We are seeking a Summer Intern to join our Electrical Test Engineering Team. Responsibilities: Test Engineering provides a variety of support to programs requiring environmental test and verification. This is a hands-on position that requires the candidate to work directly with the technical staff to complete the required assignments.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Current junior or above pursuing a degree in either electrical, or aerospace engineering
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate, listen to, and interpret instructions, operate tools and/or machinery with hands and arms and remain stationary for extended periods of the time.
• The employee will use protective equipment to work with chemicals, move between workstations, reach, and replace equipment, and move items weighing up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Designing specialized tooling
• Generating test procedures
• Supporting testing in the lab
• Develop test plans and procedures
• Design of specialized tooling/fixtures/equipment
• Assist technicians as required to install and prepare for test
• Collect test data, data reduction and generate test reports at test completion
