Based in our Shakopee, MN location, as a Test Engineer you will design and implement software test systems to verify and validate world-class safety-critical measurement & analytical instrumentation that integrates with industrial automation equipment.

  • Work with a team to design and implement automated tests and test infrastructure.
  • Participate in reviews of product requirements, test designs, and implementations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to help solve engineering challenges.
  • Provide analysis for change requests considering the impact to product testing and schedule.
  • Support manufacturing of test systems by working with global manufacturing, troubleshooting issues, and deploying/maintaining test stations.
  • Create hardware that is robust with simple and functional user interfaces.
  • Develop & maintain supporting documentation (service manual, troubleshooting guide, etc.).
  • Provide technical support for test stations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
  • Zero (0) years of applicable experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • An ABET-accredited engineering degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with related technologies and techniques (Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, .NET application development, object-oriented design principles; SQL, JavaScript, requirements-based, and gray box testing).
  • Interest and experience working with test systems.
  • Competitive base salary within the local market.
  • Salary/pay range for this role is $76,000-$80,000 annually.
