Summary: The Test Engineer will participate in system requirements and design efforts to gain the knowledge and understanding necessary for the creation of test plan documents.

Requirements

  • Ability to assess and understand system and functional requirements
  • Ability to understand QA processes and follow QA process guidelines
  • Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science or other computer-related degree/experience)
  • Experience with the following:

  • JBOSS Application Server 7.1.1
  • Apache Struts
  • Sencha EXT JS 4.2.0
  • Oracle Java Standard Edition (Java SE) 1.7.0_25

  • Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.7.0_03 (LoadRunner only)
  • Oracle 11g Database Release 2 (Oracle 11G R2)
  • Hewlett Packard (HP) LoadRunner
  • HP Quality Center (HP QC)
  • HP QuickTest Professional (QTP)
  • Common software: Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome
  • Ability to pass a National Agency Check (NAC) Investigation
  • Must be a U.S. citizen

Responsibilities

  • Develop formal application test plans and test requirement documents
  • Execute manual test cases
  • Create and run test scripts
  • Compile test scripts into test procedures
  • Run regression and load tests.
  • Track and report the status of defects
  • Coordinate with development team members, government personnel, and Data Center resources about formal testing plans, test environments, problems and test results
  • Monitoring of standards and procedures
  • Coordinate administrative tasks, as well as support process improvement activities
  • Work in a dynamic environment with talented team members to deliver quality software capabilities
