About The Position

Perform hands-on electrical tests of varying complexity. Conduct standardized and unique tests on high voltage, high power, and thermal apparatus, adapting to project needs. Develop and refine test methods and procedures to improve quality and efficiency. Design and set up test circuits, run tests, collect data, evaluate results, and write reports. Mentor lab technicians and design engineers on best testing practices. Shape the Future of Testing Strategy Collaborate with product development to guide design direction and ensure compliance with standards. Approve and implement testing approaches and equipment setups. Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. Minimum of two years of engineering experience with electrical products Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. Knowledge in the application of medium voltage electrical distribution equipment. Familiarity with dielectric testing requirements of IEEE 4 and IEC 60060-1/-2. Experience in developing electrical test systems (AC/DC, impulse, power/short-circuit, thermal, etc.). Knowledge of power test equipment and measurement instrumentation. Six-sigma trained to support measurement uncertainty assessment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.

Nice To Haves
