Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful software development—and that means rigorous testing. That’s why we need you, a knowledgeable test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test software and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best software possible. As a test engineer on our team, you’ll work with testers to evaluate software developed for our Civil client. You’ll work on creating a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automation to streamline, you’ll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. You’ll automate continuous security and performance testing and monitor the health of IT systems. You must be self-driven, with the ability to work independently, not only with test engineers and DevOps teams but also with business analysts and developers to review software design and requirements documentation to understand the application functionality. The position requires leading a team of test automation engineers, leading the test automation strategy, managing the automation framework, performing and overseeing level of effort estimates, test plans, test case scripting, peer reviews, and test summary reports to ensure a successfully tested release. In addition to manual and functional testing, you will also need to create automated test and performance test scripts using Selenium or Rational tools, Performance and Functional Tester. You will test key functionality, set up and verify data, and report test results to the manager.
