The Test Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of Qualification Test procedures to meet contractual requirements. This role involves managing the engineering test lab, maintaining test equipment, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal project performance. The individual will also oversee external testing facilities and provide technical oversight into Qualification Test processes. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a technical background and strong organizational skills, looking to contribute to the testing and qualification of advanced electrical and electromechanical systems. In this function you will: Design and develop Qualification Test Procedures that meet customer and contractual requirements. Oversee and directly participate in the formal execution of Qualification testing. Analyze, summarize, and document Qualification Test results in a reporting format suitable for customer review and approval. Maintain and manage the Engineering test lab area, including calibration certification of test equipment and instrumentation. Plan, schedule, and procure external test resource facilities when necessary. Personally oversee the execution of external tests (e.g., EMI compliance to MIL-STD-461). Review Qualification and Design Engineering Test processes for opportunities to improve quality and reduce costs. Develop and standardize qualification test procedure and report templates for future use. Collaborate with cross-functional teams from project inception to final product delivery, ensuring optimal project performance. Perform other duties as assigned by the Controls Engineering Manager.
