About The Position

deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL for a Test Engineer. Position Description: The selected Test Engineer responsibilities will include the support of the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Test Team for the Ground Fire Control (GFC) product. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/teams comprised of all experience levels. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline Experience Requirements: 2 Years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline; Not to exceed 5 years of experience Experience as a software tester and integrator; including working test plans, procedures, or test execution Understanding of systems integration of system components within an integrated test environment Knowledge of requirements development and collaboration Experience with Object-Oriented development languages such as C++, Python, Ada, JAVA, Mongo, HTML Knowledge of Python and automation scripting Familiarity with configuration management tools: Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, or others Experience using GitHub (repositories, branches, commits, pull requests), Bitbucket, Version Control, Repository management, and Data/Configuration management. Experience with Agile and automated test tools Must be able to support an in-office / closed-area work environment full-time Applicant selected must have an Active Secret Clearance (with the ability to acquire and maintain a TS level clearance) . Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline

Nice To Haves

  • Current/Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Understanding of containerized virtual environments
  • Familiarity with Linux, Bash, SQL, Matlab
  • Eggplant test automation tool experience
  • Understanding of root cause analysis and analyzing large data log files
