The Test Engineer will be involved in the Program of Record Development, Limited Production, and Sustainment contract for TIGS (Tactical Integrated Ground Suite), which includes mobile SATCOM kits, training assets, and software development environment (SDE). The role requires designing and developing test programs, processes, and systems to measure the functionality and integrity of products and services. The engineer will be responsible for writing test procedures and protocols, gathering test data, and evaluating results to ensure product designs meet customer specifications. The position also involves developing test simulations, debugging test hardware and software, and collaborating with other engineering groups to improve product performance. The Test Engineer is recognized as an expert within the group and will mentor project teams to achieve milestones and objectives. This role requires in-depth expertise and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the job family, and it impacts the direction and resource allocation for programs and projects.
