This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for a portion of the design, planning and execution of test activities and related test equipment. You will work across subsystems and support integrated solutions to achieve our vision of “millions of people living and working in space”. This role is a combination of test development, planning, setup, execution, documentation, and troubleshooting/data analysis. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of transforming the way rockets and space assets are made, tested, and operated. Candidates should have basic knowledge of CAD tools, prior test experience within an engineering environment, excellent written and verbal communications skills, and ability to work in a flexible and dynamic team environment. Candidate will assist in test design, facility and test setup, and test execution, and also perform various other duties including developing concepts and preliminary designs for required test equipment; evaluating and managing vendor designs; developing and maintaining test documentation; conducting facility and pre-test preparations, executing tests, and troubleshooting and correcting anomalies and discrepant hardware.
