About The Position

You will be the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer for the Javelin Program, supporting Production Test Equipment and Test Software activities in Troy, Alabama. Our team is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of test systems, and you will play a key role in providing technical support, test equipment improvements, and troubleshooting expertise. What You Will Be Doing As the ATE Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting test systems, providing technical expertise, and driving improvements to test equipment and software. You will work with a range of technologies, including TestStand, LabVIEW, and CVI, to control signal generation and measurement tools, conduct Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), and functional testing. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related and 3 years of professional experience, or equivalent professional experience
Experience Supporting Electronics Test Equipment, including Interface Test Adapters (ITA's) and Unit Under Test (UUT) Cabling
Experience Integrating Software for Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
Ability to travel to Orlando, FL for the first three months to complete on-program training
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

Proficient with National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand
Experience with Verification and Validation of test equipment for DoD products

Responsibilities

Upgrading, Integrating, and Supporting test equipment hardware and software as needed
Analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions
