About The Position

The Cloud Systems Validation Engineer performs verification and validation activities for cloud-based systems, including functional testing, timeline analysis, and technical trade studies. The role supports requirements allocation, interface definition, and validation of hardware and software specifications. The engineer will analyze trends and metrics to identify opportunities for system improvements and ensure optimal system functionality, performance, and configuration management within established frameworks and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• IAT Level II certification
• One or more cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or equivalent)
• Minimum of a Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional testing and verification of cloud-based systems
• Perform requirements analysis, allocation, and interface definition
• Execute trade studies for hardware and software specifications
• Analyze operational metrics to identify system improvement opportunities
• Troubleshoot system functionality, performance, and configuration issues
• Support validation of cloud architectures within existing frameworks and tools
