Who You Are You are a detail-oriented engineer with a strong foundation in manufacturing testing and troubleshooting. With a hands-on approach, you excel at developing Manufacturing Test Procedures (MTPs) and Standard Work documentation to enhance efficiency and compliance. You collaborate closely with Systems and Design Engineering teams to verify requirements and troubleshoot complex issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of aerospace systems. Requirements

  • Live Aircraft Avionics Testing and Troubleshooting of Electrical Systems on F-16
  • MTP development and execution to Production floor
  • Crypto keys - SME development/loading
  • Designing Test Fixtures & Jigs via CATIA
  • 3D printing expertise
  • Experience with MIDS, IFF, Radar Systems, Comm/Nav, Weapons Systems, Fire Control
  • CI initiatives & measures to reduce SRR & Span Time Reductions, ROI measurers
  • Perform in high paced environment & ability to resolve issues quickly as they arise
  • Bachelors Degree or pursuing
  • US Citizen for consideration

Nice To Haves

  • F-16 Avionics Electrical Experience
  • Yellow / Green Belt – Lean
  • Experience developing work instructions / test documents
  • Experience with Systems Engineering and Production Operations to quantify, validate and coordinate requirements-Software programming
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement detailed Manufacturing Test Procedures (MTPs) from engineering specifications and releases to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Work documentation to streamline processes, enhance consistency, and improve efficiency.
  • Lead advanced troubleshooting efforts for electrical, avionics, and systems integration issues to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.
  • Collaborate with Systems and Design Engineering teams to verify and validate engineering requirements during testing phases.
