Selected candidates will join a group that is responsible for supporting a wide range of electrical systems and equipment in the following areas: reactor plant instrumentation and control systems, steam and electric plant systems, auxiliary electrical/electronic systems, power distribution equipment and systems, and advanced power electronics. This position supports all fleet submarines, including Los Angeles, Ohio, Seawolf and Virginia classes; training platforms including S6G Moored Training Ships at NPTU Charleston, SC and the S8G Prototype at Kesselring, NY; and Multi Mission Platform (MMP)/Watchtower. This job will provide for an unusually large variety of work of differing durations, and increased responsibilities and independence as ability and experience supports.
